i don’t know why nobody knows this but as long as your little crosshair is on the enemy, it’ll do the same amount of damage. it’ll only do more damage when shooting if you stand still until the crosshair is smaller

I went with heavy metal thunder with a blastproof mod so I could just fire a rocket at my feet if the enemy got too close while I filled them with needles. While I may have given up at the elevator in DS2, I was able to get this in achievement. It's definitley not as hard because it's true, the only real threat is the instant death stuff.

13:06 Jockeys still claw you if you stun them by shoving them. I don't know the specifics, like if it still happens when the Jockey is in the air (don't see why that'd be an exception), but my jaw was on the floor after seeing that escape. I've been hurt too many times... Well, like four times. Hell, even the L4D wiki mentions in the Jockey tactics for survivors section to _not_ shove during the Jockey's jump, because you'll most likely be caught lacking.

the plasma cutter only has a single problem, its not the best at dealing with crawlers, the skin bastards, also, impossible has always been inconsistent over the dead space games, dead space 1 had impossible, which just scaled up health and damage with no perma-death, dead space 2 had zealot, which was just everything does tons of damage and ammo/health was scarce and hardcore, which was just hard mode with access to only 3 saves throughout the playthrough with a death taking you back to said save and 3 had impossible, which did the whole trifecta of little ammo/health and scaling health and damage and hardcore, which was just like this, hard mode with perma-death, with how the remake handled its difficulty, it was very tame compared to 2 and 3 and i feel that this is one of the easiest hardcore modes of dead space, doesn't stop the worry of all the insta-kill points in the game but it is the easiest.
